  • A silkscreen print shop, design house, and music venue with growing spaces for artists, located in the rural town of Waverly, AL

    Advisor / Collaborating Producer, 2020 - Present

    • Co-directs the Old 280 Boogie, a spring festival at Standard Deluxe

    • Advises on current needs and projects for Standard Deluxe, including content for written media, developing partnerships, and the production of a new café and bakery, the on-site bar, and other projects in the works

  • A 20-month-long program for mid-career professionals, run by APAP – the U.S.’s leading performing arts presenting organization. The program is for those who seek to transform the world through their work as arts leaders.

    Leadership Fellow, Cohort 2 (2016 - 2018)

    • Selected to partake in the 20-month program as a mid-career arts professional

    • Engaged in deep dialogue and learning and focused my personal project on models for communal curation

    Group Leader, Cohort 4 (2018 - 2020)

    • Invited to co-lead Cohort 4 fellows through their 20-month process

    • Involved in-depth planning and producing of leadership-based convenings

  • A leading traditional/contemporary performance company of Ghana, West Africa

    Tour Coordinator, 2008 - 2010

    • Planned logistics for the Minnesota leg of tours: master classes, school visits, lodging, and transportation

    • Organized, promoted, and stage managed two Minneapolis shows involving local artists; 400 attendees

    • Hosted artists for their stays in Minneapolis, assisting with logistics, transportation and hospitality

    • Advised the director, Bernard Woma, on projects and needs for the company

  • An annual summer festival that celebrates the more than 100,000 refugees living in Minnesota

    Co-Founder / Co-Chair / Curator / Fundraising Chair, 2007 - 2009

    • Spearheaded the first Twin Cities World Refugee Day event, attracting more than 3,000 people

    • Led a planning committee of 30 diverse members from the refugee-serving community

    • Chaired the Entertainment Committee: curated and stage-managed more than 25 performances

    • Chaired the Fundraising Committee: managed the budget and engaged 60 financial contributors
